For this role you would be based in The Chelsea Magazine Company’s King’s Road office in Chelsea.
The Chelsea Magazine Company are looking for a quality-driven journalist with proven experience as a production editor to head up the production process on Classic Boat. This is a role that has both print and digital platforms, so experience of the production processes within digital, and knowledge of social media and use of SEO will be key. You will need to be highly organised, with advanced writing and subbing skills, keen eye for detail and great time management. Experience of and a true interest in the world of classic boats (rather than just sighing ‘wouldn’t that be lovely?’) would be a distinct advantage.
Journalism skills required for this role
You will need to be highly organised, with strong communication and management skills and advanced writing skills, able to oversee and manage copy flow on both print and digital, with excellent subbing skills.
You will also need a strong working knowledge of InDesign and Photoshop, CMS and Adobe DPS, plus experience of using SEO effectively on digital sites.
