Journalism jobs – Editor sought for Arabian Travel News

Tunisia Medina cr Judy DarleyFancy flitting over to Dubai to rev up your journalism career? ITP Business is looking for an editor for Arabian Travel News, a monthly magazine read by the Middle East travel trade. 

As editor, you will be writing about the trends, issues and destinations most relevant to travel agents and tour operators, as well as the systems and technologies that help them run their businesses more efficiently.

Journalism skills required for this role

This journalism job would suit an existing editor or a news, deputy or features editor looking to take control of their own project.

Working with a group editor, you will plan the content of the magazine, write and source copy, feed copy and images through to the design team and be responsible for final approval of pages.

You must understand how to make a magazine both commercially successful and invaluable to its readers. Excellent writing and editing skills, a keen eye for detail and a ‘can do’ attitude are essential.

You will also be expected represent the magazine at events and be in constant touch with travel professionals.

This journalism job is based in the city of Dubai.
